Olej na plátně, 2024 - "Transformation" oil on canvas
Na začátku je jen malé vajíčko, první jiskra touhy poznat víc. Z vajíčka se vylíhne housenka, zaneprázdněná růstem, hromaděním zkušeností, učí se přežít a buduje ego. Pak přijde okamžik, kdy se uzavře do ticha, do kokonu, rozpad starých struktur, přesvědčení, identit, ale právě tady se zárodky nového já začínají spojovat. Nakonec se kukla otevře, znovuzrozený tvor roztáhne křídla a motýl už se neplazí, ale letí. Nepřestává existovat to, čím kdysi byl, ale jeho vědomí se rozšířilo. Metamorfóza motýla je tedy symbolem vnitřní proměny, z těžkého pozemského bytí do lehkosti, svobody. Tento obraz je odrazem mého tehdejšího pocitu a vlastního transformačního přerodu.
In the beginning, there is only a small egg, the first spark of desire to know more. A caterpillar hatches from the egg, busy growing, accumulating experience, learning to survive, and building its ego. Then comes the moment when it retreats into silence, into a cocoon, the breakdown of old structures, beliefs, identities, but it is here that the seeds of a new self begin to come together. Finally, the chrysalis opens, the reborn creature spreads its wings, and the butterfly no longer crawls but flies. What it once was does not cease to exist, but its consciousness has expanded. The metamorphosis of the butterfly is thus a symbol of inner transformation, from heavy earthly existence to lightness and freedom. This image reflects my feelings at the time and my own transformative metamorphosis.
